A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon is about to be refueled by a KC-10 Extender from the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron during an air refueling mission in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility on April 24, 2010. Air Mobility Command aircraft like the KC-10 are involved in several initiatives to save fuel for the command and the Air Force by the AMC Fuel Efficiency Office.
