170710-N-KM722-028 SUFFOLK, Virginia (June 10, 2017) Sailors assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73), from the aircraft intermediate maintenance department (AIMD), verify serial numbers after receiving inventory at the General Electric (GE) Warehouse. AIMD Sailors work at the warehouse to maintain approximately 8,000 items to fulfill the needs of various ships in the Fleet. George Washington is homeported in Norfolk preparing to move to Newport News for the ship's refueling and complex overhaul (RCOH) maintenance.
