A Sailor moves to chalk and chain down an MV-22B Osprey, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265 (Reinforced), after it lands on the flight deck of the Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), during Talisman Saber 2017. VMM-265 is part of the Aviation Combat Element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit who partners with Amphibious Squadron 11 to form the amphibious component of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group. Talisman Saber is a realistic and challenging exercise that brings service members closer and improves both U.S. and Australia's ability to work bilaterally and multilaterally, and prepares them to be poised to provide security regionally and globally.
