Fireman Cory M. Smith, an electrician's mate from Edmond, Okla., and Petty Officer 3rd Class Ryne M. McReynolds, an electrician's mate from Beaumont, Texas, transport a ventilation motor after being dipped in varnish in the repair shop aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ventilation motors are used to maintain cool air flow and supply air within the ship and the varnish lubricates and protects it. Ronald Reagan is currently underway conducting operations in preparation for an upcoming deployment. (Photo by: Seaman Mikesa Ponder)
