TOWNSHEND ISLAND, Australia (July 13, 2017) Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) vehicle 10, assigned to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, approaches the beach as part of a large-scale amphibious assault during Talisman Saber 2017. LCAC 10, launched from the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), enabled movement of 31st MEU forces and equipment ashore in order for the MEU to complete mission objectives in tandem with Australian counterparts.
