A U.S. Air Force C-5M Super Galaxy with the 22nd Airlift Squadron, 60th Air Mobility Wing, arrives at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan, July 13, 2017. The C-5M transported a sonar rubber dome window approximately 5,500 miles from Travis Air Force Base, California, to MCAS Iwakuni where it was then loaded onto the MS Manyoshi Maru, a general cargo ship, for delivery to Fleet Activities Yokosuka. MCAS Iwakuni is the only Marine Corps installation with a co-located airport and seaport, providing strategic capabilities to U.S. forces in the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
