Mr. Serban Lungu, director of Romanian Defense Planning, and Mr. Michael Formica, regional director of Installation Management Command Europe, exchange business cards after a ribbon cutting ceremony at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania on July 17, 2017. The completed motor pool that was officially opened is the first of eight projects that the US and Romania are working on at MK to enhance infrastructure and show that the US is committed to the relationships built with Allies through the European Reassurance Initiative. Both men gave remarks on the success of the first project completed, a motor pool, and then proceeded to cut the customary ribbon afterwards that officially completed the project.
