Petty Officer 3rd Class Joseph Hophan of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3 uses a shovel to help smooth out the wet concrete just poured for a project, here in Camp Leatherneck. The seabees of NMCB 3 are building a large facility for Marines of the 2nd Engineering Support Battalion. NMCB 3 is an expeditionary element of US Naval Forces providing construction, engineering and security services in support of national strategy, Naval power projection, humanitarian assistance and contingency operations.
