GRAFENWOER, Germany – Colonel Andrew Powell, Commander of the U.S. Army Medical Department Activity Bavaria presided over the Grafenwoehr Health Clinic Change of Command ceremony Friday, 21 July on Tower Barracks. During the ceremony Lt. Col. Shannon Shaw relinquished command to Lt. Col. Rose Smyth. In his remarks Powell was unstinting with his praise of Shaw's many accomplishments and leadership and said Smyth was "The right candidate to succeed Shaw and to lead the Grafenwoehr clinic into the future".
