Petty Officer 3rd Class Jerad Jurgensmier, a hospital corpsman with 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), answers a question for Cmdr. Herbert Griffin, the 3rd MAW (Fwd) chaplain, during a Warrior Transition brief Jan. 25 aboard Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. The Warrior Transition brief is given to Marines and sailors to explain the challenges they will face upon returning home from deployment. During the brief, Marines and sailors of Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 3 and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 16, both part of 3rd MAW (Fwd), were given tips to help them transition back into family life and how to deal with post-deployment stress. They were also reminded of safety precautions to take during recreational activities and received traffic safety tips.
