Georgian Infantry Battalion Finds Pride in Working With Coalition Forces

After the Saddam regime fell, several Russian "Stryker" tanks were left behind. The Georgian Army Battalion, stationed on Forward Operating Base Union 1 in the heart of Baghdad, took one of the tanks and brought it back to life. The "Batoomi" Battalion of light-infantrymen from Georgia has been stationed in Baghdad for more than four months while working alongside coalition forces like the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division.
