After the Saddam regime fell, several Russian "Stryker" tanks were left behind. The Georgian Army Battalion, stationed on Forward Operating Base Union 1 in the heart of Baghdad, took one of the tanks and brought it back to life. The "Batoomi" Battalion of light-infantrymen from Georgia has been stationed in Baghdad for more than four months while working alongside coalition forces like the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division.
