Three U.S. Army Soldiers from a Multi-Role Bridge Company team up to hook up an Improved Ribbon Bridge (IRB) Bay Section to a a CH-47 Chinook of Company B, 7th (General Support Aviation) Battalion, 158th Aviation Regiment, 244th Aviation Brigade, Army Reserve Aviation Command during River Assault 2017 on Fort Chaffee Manuever Training Center, July 26, 2017. The Chinook dropped off the bay in the Arkansas River in order for the IRB to be built across the river, the culminating event of River Assault. Operation River Assault is one of the key training events that demonstrates that America’s Army Reserve is the most capable, combat ready, and lethal Federal Reserve Force in the history of the nation.
