Corey Vanotegham, an infantry radio telephone operator from Victor, Iowa, with Company C, 1st Battalion, 133rd Infantry Regiment, Task Force Ironman, looks over the side of the road outside the town of Tupac, Afghanistan, Jan. 20. Vanotegham talked about his experiences as an infantryman in Afghanistan. TF Ironman is a part of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, TF Red Bulls, and the Iowa National Guard.
