Dana Pierce of Joint Sustainment Command – Afghanistan during a musical performance at the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday observance at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan on Jan. 21. Luster’s feature performance was a tribute to American jazz trumpeter Louis Armstrong. The annual event was widely attended by service members and civilians from numerous nations and featured live music, inspirational quotations, a musical tribute to Louis Armstrong and traditional food sampling.
