Marines with 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Command Element, practice bracing for simulated helicopter ditching while attending the Modular Amphibious Egress Trainer Course aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 25. This aspect of the training helped Marines practice the brace position and get a glimpse of what happens when a helicopter submerges and rolls over in a body of water.
