A local worker applies rendering to the window frames near the ceiling of the Sorkh Murghab Mosque Feb. 1. The mosque is designed to be energy efficient by making use of windows around the domed roof that will allow the maximum amount of natural light, relieving some of the burden on the generator that powers the facility.
