170731-N-PJ626-133 SOLOMON SEA (July 31, 2017) Sailors assigned to the Crash and Salvage unit receive instructions during a mass-casualty drill held on the flight deck of the Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), during routine operations. This drill was conducted to evaluate the mission readiness of flight deck and medical personnel. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
