Larry McCullen, commanding officer of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), while Lachlan Mackintosh, an ABC Radio Brisbane producer, live-streams the video during a radio broadcast from the ship’s flight deck. Bonhomme Richard, flagship of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG), was in Brisbane for a scheduled port visit.
