Soldiers of Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion,” Gladiators”, 101st Airborne Division, performed sling load operations, as part of a “hook-up” team, July 31 at Fort Campbell, Ky. The “hook-up” team was responsible for attaching the slings from a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) onto a Boeing CH-47 Chinook, in order for it to be air lifted to a different location.
