NORFOLK (July 28, 2017)— Students of the Navy’s first Role 2 Light Maneuver course simulate transferring a patient on a field stretcher during a Tactical Combat Casualty Care evolution. The objective of the pilot course, being held at Surface Warfare Medical Institute (SWMI) East, a detachment of Navy Medicine Operational Training Center, is to build a mobile unit equipped to set up a functioning medical area with advanced trauma life support capabilities.
