NORFOLK, Va. (July 8, 2017) – Marines assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) cross the brow of the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) in preparation for Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) MEU Integrated Training (PMINT). During PMINT, the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group, PHIBRON FOUR, and the 26th MEU will integrate for the first time to conduct a series of exercises designed to enhance interoperability between the Sailors and Marines.
