GRAYLING, Mich. – U.S. Marines with 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, execute rappelling techniques using a U.S. Navy HS-14 SH-60F Seahawk from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 14, onto the parade field at Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, Michigan, Aug. 6, 2017. The rope rappelling techniques help maintain mission readiness by rehearsing insertion and extraction drills during exercise Northern Strike 17. Northern Strike 17 is a National Guard Bureau-sponsored training exercise that unites service members from multiple branches, states and coalition countries to conduct combined ground and air combat operations.
