The men’s bodybuilding is divided into seven sections: masters, bantamweight, lightweight, light middleweight, middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight. In men’s bodybuilding, competitors are judged on muscle size, muscle definition and symmetry. Hawkins won first place for the Light Heavyweight division, and won overall for the men’s bodybuilding competition. Hawkins is a Gadsden, Alabama, native and has been training for 10 years.
