U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Harry E. Wetz, a platoon sergeant assigned to Troop D, 1st Squadron, 32nd Cavalry Regiment, Task Force Bandit from San Antonio, uses a radio to communicate with his soldiers preparing supplies for a sling load on Forward Operating Base Bostick in eastern Afghanistan’s Kunar province, Feb. 6. This deployment is Wetz’s first time working with sling-load operations.
