CAMP GRAYLING, Mich. – A U.S. Marine with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 25th Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve fires an M16 A4 service rifle during reinforced squad attacks on Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, Michigan, Aug. 7, 2017. The purpose of the reinforced squad attack was to suppress enemy positions in order to breach and clear obstacles and allow movement toward the objective during Exercise Northern Strike 17. Exercise Northern Strike is a National Guard Bureau-sponsored training exercise that unites service members from multiple branches, states and coalition countries to conduct combined ground and air combat operations.
