Bristol, IN— During the National Rifle Association Conventional Prone Championships, a mentor match is conducted by the more advanced marksmen at the competition. In this match, junior shooters each choose a “mentor” to pair up with during junior-adult team match. USAMU Soldiers are always highly sought after as mentors. Events like this allow the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit to pass our knowledge on to the next generation of shooters. (Courtesy Photo)
