Tech Sgt. Veronica Jackson, 512th Communications Operations flight, removes a hard drive from a desktop computer, July 26, 2018, at Aviano Air Force Base, Italy. Jackson joined other 512th Airlift Wing Airmen in a two-week Total Force training mission to the 31st Fighter Wing at Aviano, where they worked alongside the active duty 31st Communications Squadron. The 512th Airmen supported the 31st CS with information technology-related duties such as help desk support, software installation, hard drive imaging, knowledge operations and SharePoint maintenance. In addition to providing assistance to the 31 CS, the Dover Airmen also shared integral knowledge that helped the squadron improve processes and customer service. The immersive training at Aviano prepared the 512 SCO Airmen for future deployments, where working alongside active duty components and international organizations is common.
