170808-N-VV353-024 NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (Aug. 8, 2017) – Marines assigned to Marine Medium Tilt-Rotor Squadron 764 and personnel assigned to Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella’s site Rota, Spain, transport MV-22B Osprey aircraft from the Naval Station Rota airfield to the pier in preparation to load them onto a ship, Aug. 8. Logistics Support Center personnel ensured proper handling and delivery of the aircraft using multiple modes of transportation to reduce cargo handling, improve security, minimize damage and allow quicker freight transportation.
