Marines from 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Forces Reserve, from reserve units all over the country, prepare, test and inpsect Kalmar RT240 heavy equipment, international shipping container transporters on the Yermo Annex aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., Aug. 9. The equipment can lift and stack in yards, on ships, trucks, railcars, in any location Marines are located. They are designed to move 20-40 foot shipping containers and have the capacity to lift up to 53,000 poinds.
