U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Austin Clark, a network administrator, with Tactical Exercise Control Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, works along side multinational force participants and multinational planning augmentation team representatives from 18 countries during
the staff exercise portion of Exercise Cobra Gold 2011 in Chiang Mai Feb. 8. During the STAFFEX, a multinational force and componets will conduct future operations planning based on a United Nations security council resolution-authorized peace enforcement operation. Cobra Gold 2011 provides training opportunities for participating military partners, while also promoting relationship-building between multinational militaries and local communities.
