    Adrian Teter, a student intern currently assigned to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, pilots his 3-D printed boat Clear As Mud during the second annual Additive Manufacturing (AM) Challenge in West Bethesda, Md., Aug. 10, 2017. These students designed and created additively manufactured boats using a standard kit of parts while assigned to Carderock under the Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program and raced them in the David Taylor Model Basin to complete the event, which is sponsored by the Naval Sea Systems Command 05 Chief Technology Office.
