Master Sgt. Jose Rodriguez, 433rd Training Squadron, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, speaks to 302nd Airlift Wing and 310th Space Wing trainees from the Development and Training Flight Nov. 6, 2016, here. Rodriquez and Tech. Sgt. Rene Riojas, also a Military Training Instructor with the 433rd TS, visit Air Force bases around the country to recruit Air Force Reservists into the MTI program. Members can serve as an MTI for a four-year commitment then return to his or her training specialty. “This is the best job I have ever had,” said Rodriquez. “You can directly impact the Air Force Reserve by training new Reservists.” There are active Guard and Reserve positions as well as traditional Reserve slots. To be eligible you must be E-5 (promotable to technical sergeant) to E-7, among other requirements. For more information contact Master Sgt. Carlos Recoder at carlos.recoder@us.af.mil.
