Lance Cpl. Brian K. Steele, a combat engineer with 2nd Marine Logistics Group, gets a Purple Heart Medal pinned on his chest by Brig. Gen. Michael G. Dana, the command general for 2nd MLG, during a ceremony in front of the 2nd MLG Headquarters building aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Feb. 14. Steele was a vehicle commander during a convoy near Forward Operating Base Hansen when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device.
