Young was remembered at a Fallen Soldier ceremony at the U.S. Army Reserve Command headquarters on Fort McPherson, Ga., Thursday, Feb. 17. Young, 25, was assigned to the 323rd Engineer Company from Spartanburg, S.C. when he was fatally wounded by an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan's Kandahar province on Nov. 3, 2010. He was a native of Rochester, Ill.
