Senior Airman Kent Brinson Jr. stretches after a grueling training session at the Chapparal Fitness Center, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, Feb. 17, 2011. Airman Brinson is preparing for the Armed Forces Boxing Championship heavyweight title fight. Brinson won his previous fight by judges' unanimous decision with a final score card of 28-5. Originally from Monroe, Mich., he is a three-time Toledo Golden Glove champion, having won the title in 2004, 2005 and 2006. The AFBC is an elite competition between military service branches. Winning a gold medal in the event qualifies the athlete to compete in the 2012 Olympic team trials.
