GRAFENWOEHR, Germany - Chief Warrant Officer Kristopher Gillespie, 10th Army Air Missile Defense Course, pushes himself through the obstacle course. Gillespie was one of Twenty-two Soldiers, noncommissioned officers, warrant officers and officers from units across the European theater and U.S Army Africa who converged August 20 - 25 to compete in Europe's 2017 Best Warrior Competition, in Grafenwoehr, Germany, where they faced a five-day barrage of mental, physical, and tactical trials to test their skills and resiliency. This year is the first year warrant officers have participated in the competition.
