CAMP NAVISTAR, Kuwait - Staff Sgt. Artemio Salas, a Fresno, Calif., native (left) and Airman 1st Class Jonathon New, a Modesto, Calif., native prepare their truck for a convoy at Camp Navistar Feb. 24. They were returning from a convoy support mission to Tallil Airbase, Iraq, in support of Third Army/U.S. Army Central. Salas is a heavy equipment mechanic and New is a heavy vehicle operator for the Air Force's 70th Medium Truck Detachment stationed at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
