Air Force Reserve firefighters Senior Airman Jamie Perkins and Tech Sgt. Justin Rogers respond to a motor vehicle accident training scenario while under mock enemy fire at Young Air Assault Strip, Fort McCoy, Wis., Aug. 17, 2017, during exercise Patriot Warrior. Perkins is with the 349th Civil Engineer Squadron, Travis Air Force Base, California, while Justin Rogers is from the 419th Civil Engineer Squadron, Hill AFB, Utah. They were among more than 600 Reserve Citizen Airmen and 10,000 soldiers, sailors, Marines and international partners who converged on Wisconsin to support a range of interlinked exercises, including Patriot Warrior, Global Medic, Combat Support Training Exercise, Diamond Saber and a mortuary affairs exercise. Patriot Warrior is Air Force Reserve Command's premier exercise, providing an opportunity for Reserve Citizen Airmen to train with joint and international partners in airlift, aeromedical evacuation and mobility support.
