Service members from partner nation air forces work together during PANAMAX 2017, a week-long exercise focused on the security of the Panama Canal, held Aug. 12-15, 2017 on Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz. The exercise involved each component of USSOUTHCOM, as well as 25 partner nations in locations around the U.S. The PANAMAX exercise goal is to increase the ability of nations to work together, enable assembled forces to organize as a multination task force and test their responsiveness in combined operations.
