Soldiers assigned to Bravo and Headquarters Company, 1st Brigade, 147th Air Assault Helicopter Battalion, and the 2nd Brigade, 149th General Support Aviation Battalion, both assigned to the 29th Combat Aviation Brigade, conduct a deck landing qualification with a UH-60 Blackhawk on the US Naval Ship Alan Shepard, Aug. 9, in the Arabian Gulf. Soldiers must complete at least 10 deck landings every month to maintain their qualification status.
