Coast Guard Station Portland crewmembers Petty Officer 2nd Class Conor Sanders, a boatswains mate, and Fireman Connor Coppedge fill out paperwork during a routine random safety check on the Columbia River.

Station Portland crews regularly patrol the Columbia River between Puget Island, Washington, Bonneville Lock and Dam in Oregon, the Willamette River and as far as Oregon City, Oregon.
