(Sep. 1, 2017) – Volunteers from the Port Townsend Marine Science Center (PTMSC) educate the public about a deceased gray whale on the Marine Exhibit Pier at the PTMSC. To help facilitate natural tissue removal, U.S. Naval Magazine Indian Island worked with the PTMSC by providing safe anchorage for the deceased whale near its facility in Port Townsend Bay.
