LOS ANGELES (Sep. 2, 2017) Vice Adm. Nora Tyson, commander of U.S. 3rd Fleet, receives Girl Scout Cookies from members of the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles at a visit on board USS Anchorage (LPD 23) during the second annual Los Angeles Fleet Week. LA Fleet Week is an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard team and experience America’s sea services. During fleet week service members participate in various community events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of Los Angeles and surrounding areas have to offer.
