170903-N-PF593-023 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 3, 2017) Damage Controlman Fireman Lauren Rogers, from Spokane, Washington, simulates pipe patching techniques during an Inport Emergency Team (IET) drill aboard the Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). IET drills are used to insure IET members can effectively combat shipboard casualties while inport. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
