Airmen from the New York Air National Guard's 105th Airlift Wing and 106th Rescue Wing prepare to offload an HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter from a C-17 in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Sept. 7, 2017 after deploying there as part of the National Guard response to Hurricane Irma. The 105th Airlift Wing, based in Newburgh, N.Y., deployed personnel and 3 HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopters and 3 rescue boats assigned to the New York Air National Guard's 106th Rescue Wing, based Gabreski Air National Guard Base in Westhampton Beach, N.Y. to San Juan.
