170908-N-NT795-442 SAN DIEGO (Sept. 8, 2017) Chief Petty Officers (CPOs) and CPO Selectees assigned to Coastal Riverine Group (CRG) 1, marches from USS Midway museum to Ruocco Park during the observance of the 14th annual CPO Pride Day San Diego onboard USS Midway museum. CPO Pride Day 2017 is the largest gathering of CPO and CPO Selectees across the Navy with 3,100 attendees, among 200 Navy Southwest Region Commands, which also included volunteer community service activities throughout the San Diego County area. Founded in 2003 by Force Master Chief Karen O'Connor and hosted this year by the Enlisted Leadership Foundation and focused on strengthening camaraderie between CPOS.
