A 12th-grade student speaks to young women about the importance of education during a graduation ceremony for 180 young women who completed a 10-month course in English and computers Feb. 19. The Farah Department of Education accredited the course, which was taught by the Farah Humanitarian Organization for Local Development, an Afghan non-governmental organization focused on empowering women through socio-economic development activities and educational programs.
