Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts in the Beaumont area, headed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Texas National Guard, are coordinated from the Ford Park Arena September 6, 2017. Military vehicles and trailers of relief supplies are staged at the complex’s parking area until needed. The hard work and assistance from volunteers and State and Federal agencies has enabled the mission to transition from rescue to recovery operations.
