Students enrolled in the Railway Operations Group Training Course pose for a portrait during their training at the Yermo Annex aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., Aug. 31. During the training, students learn to safely load, span, secure and unload equipment on railcars for safe transportation to and from military bases all over the country. The base is home to the largest railhead in the Department of Defense and is the only source for intermediate and advanced railway operations training.
