(Sept. 8, 2017) – Yachts filled with military members and Thurston County Chamber of Commerce members depart the Olympia Yacht Club marina and are greeted by local law enforcement and fire departments during the 55th annual Foofaraw. The Thurston Chamber of Commerce and Olympia Yacht Club have been annually hosting service members for 55 years at the club's private island as a show of military appreciation.
